Dyco electronics is a manufacturer of electrical transformers, inductors, chokes, coils, power supplies. Design svc. Compliance to MIL-I-45208 & MIL-Q-9858. Thermal shock & environmental testing per MIL-STD-202, full qualification to MIL-PRF-27 & MIL-PRF-21038.
We also have the capabilities and equipment to assemble your electrical transformers or mechanical components that are best suited for assembly outside of your facility!

When you are connecting electrical transformers, it might be required
that you connect electrical transformers to single- and 3-phase power
sources as well as single- and 3-phase loads. Be aware that making
wrong connections may damage your equipment and cause serious injuries.

In order to size electrical transformers, voltage must be calculated as
well as power and current. You will require the electrical
transformers "turns ratio," primary voltage, and total load. The
secondary voltage is the primary voltage divided by the turns ratio.
Secondary current is the primary current times the turns ratio. Power
(kVA) entering the transformer will be slightly more than the power
leaving the transformer. Beware, some texts show transformer
calculations without defining the turns ratio: thus making it easy to
use the wrong calculation method.

Direct Current for electrical transformers (DC) is the continuous flow
of electricity through a conductor from a high to a low potential. In
direct current, the electric charges flow always in the same direction,
which distinguishes it from alternating current (AC).
